BROOKLYN — The Brooklyn Kiwanis Club will horde a annual baby showering to advantage a University of Michigan’s C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital on Feb. 21.
The showering will start during 11:30 a.m. during All Saints Episcopal Church, 201 N. Main St., in Brooklyn. Lunch will be provided.
Byron Myer from C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital will be a guest orator and will speak about a new children’s facility.
Attendees are asked to move a following equipment to present to a hospital: Scrapbooking supplies, word hunt and crossword nonplus books, activity and coloring books, markers, toddler toys, baby rattles, teething toys, video games (up to teen rating), house games and calculators.
Gift cards from Meijer, Target, JoAnn Fabric and Craft Stores, Michaels and Toys ‘R’ Us are also needed, and grill coupons are appreciated.
